The main anchorage is off the village of Clifton, just a few steps from the small local airport. The bay is sheltered by a coral reef.
It is recommended to stopover here not only to stock up on supplies but also to spend a fun evening at one of the beachside restaurants.
If, however, you would prefer a quieter evening, shared with numerous tropical fish and turtles, there are more secluded moorings to be found on the west side of the island, at Chatham Bay.
