Mayreau is a pretty little island with only one village, high up on the western side.
Salt Whistle Bay is the favoured mooring point, to the north and on the leeward side, with a magnificent beach lined with coconut palms. There are bouys available for mooring the catamaran if you don't want to drop anchor.
This sheltered bay is ideal for all. Whether you prefer to sunbathe, swim, snorkel and observe the colourful tropical fish, this is the place for you.
Kitesurfing or windsurfing enthousiasts only have to cross a small strip of land to get to the superbly breezy stretch of the sea.
A visit to the small church at the outskirts of the village is worth the detour, and from its terrace you can admire the magnificent colours of the whole of Tobago Cays.
At night there is a real Caribbean ambiance, with music on offer at Black Boy's or at Robert's in the village.
