Bequia

A magnificent anchorage point in a sheltered bay overlooked by the town of Port Elizabeth, with its white sandy beach and colourful market overflowing with tropical fruit, spices and a variety of other local produce. A good number of quality restaurants are present too, with dishes on offer from around the world, so that you can take real pleasure in sampling new tastes and flavours - the rôti is a local spicy sandwich, usually made of fish or sometimes goat's meat! Well worth a try.

The island's population are mostly sailing enthousiasts and are extremely warm and welcoming to visitors.

All customs and immigration formalities for entry into St Vincent and The Grenadines can be undertaken here and several banks with cashpoints are situated near the jetty.
