Rodney Bay

This wide, sheltered bay is a great place for all types of visitors, with countless activities on offer, from sunbathing on the beach, snorkeling, the well-known Friday night party evening at the village of Gros Islet, to mention but a few.

The capital of Saint Lucia is Castries, which is 15 minutes away by taxi or minibus. It has a typical Antilles-style market with a fresh and colourful collection of tropical fruit and vegetables on display, plus a duty-free shopping centre close by.
